Owner and Operator of Kathy’s Klippery, Kathy has over 40 years of experience serving the KC area. Growing up in the Northland has allowed her to build lasting relationships with many clients who have become friends. Starting at just five years old, with her little red wagon full of brushes to care for her neighbors’ pets, she was destined to work in the animal field.
A true pet lover, Kathy shares her compassion and holistic knowledge both in her business and on her organic farm. She is a founding board member of NAWS (Northland Animal Welfare Society), where she helps work toward building a much-needed no-kill shelter in the Northland.

Professional Styling
With calming aromatherapy and soft nature sounds in the background, relaxation begins the moment your pet enters our care. Each session starts with a gentle, thorough massage to check for any unusual lumps, parasites, or potential medical concerns. This is followed by a warm bath, a cozy wrap, and a fluff-drying process that further helps reveal any hidden skin or coat issues.
Once your pet is dry, they’re treated to gentle brushing, precise trimming, and a nail trim with optional buffing (additional fee applies)—all finished with the style of your choice. To complete the spa experience, bows can be added upon request (see additional services).
